Congratulations to Linda Smogor for winning Best of Show for her photo, Sadie, in this year’s Rarefied Light. Rarefied Light 2014 will open at the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center, 625 C Street, on November 7th and will run through February 22nd, 2015. The opening reception will be held on Friday, November 7th from 6 to 9pm.
A traveling Rarefied Light Exhibit will show in Fairbanks at the Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts, Bear Gallery, Pioneer Park, 2300 Airport Way, from December 5th through December 27th, with an opening reception on Friday, December 7th, from 5 to 7pm.
It will also show in Kenai/Soldotna at Kenai Peninsula College, 156 College Drive, from January 12th, 2015, through March 6th, with an opening reception on Thursday, January 15th, from 4:30 to 6pm.
